• Hire prices listed are for one days use, which covers 3 days (e.g. delivery, your event and then collection). Longer hire periods can be accommodated. Please contact us for more information.

  • All items remain the property of Maggie's Tea Party at all times.

  • All items hired from Maggie's Tea Party remain the responsibility of the hirer, including if left at other premises or used by other parties i.e. caterers, until return or collection. This includes loss or breakages.

  • We agree to deliver and collect orders over £100 free of charge within 10 miles of Ashby de la Zouch. We will deliver to orders under £100 for a set charge of £10 plus 80p per mile for orders over 10 miles from Ashby de la Zouch. For all orders over 10 miles from Ashby de la Zouch, we will delivery for 80p per mile over the 10 mile radius.

  • A deposit to secure the hire is charged at 50% of fee, payable on booking. The balance is due 14 days prior to event. We accept cash, cheque or direct bank transfer. For orders made less than 14 days prior to an event full hire fee is required.

  • Cancellations made 30 days or less to hire date are charged at 50% of hire fee. Cancellations made 14 days or less to hire date are charged at 100% of hire fee. Cancellations must be made in writing either by letter or e-mail and any outstanding payment settled within 30 days of cancellation.

  • Order requirements must be finalised 14 days prior to hire date. We will do our best to accommodate any additional items required however we cannot guarantee that these will be available. Please note order alterations within this period will be charged at original hire price if less than original invoice. Additional items will be charged at normal hire prices on top of original invoice price.

  • Orders reduced 30 days or less to hire date will be charged at 50% of original hire charge plus 50% of the new hire charge will be payable 14 days prior to hire date.

  • Prices quoted at time of deposit payment to secure booking will be honoured to the date of event. Delayed hire may be subject to price increases as appropriate.

  • Please be aware that these are coordinated sets NOT necessarily matching. We think this adds to the eclectic beauty of them.

  • Due to the nature of vintage items there may be signs of wear, such as to gilt, but there will be NO cracks to the china.

  • Returnable damage deposit of £100 for up to 9 sets, £150 for up to 15 sets and £200 for over 15 sets, is required, payable at time of balance payment (14 days before hire date) by separate cheque, or cash or bank transfer. This will be returned once all items have been returned and checked. In the event of items of china being broken or damaged these must be returned to Maggie's Tea Party wrapped in paper. Each small item (cups, saucers and small plates) will be charged at £5. Sugar bowls, milk jugs and cake slices will be charged at £10, cake plates £10.00, cake stands and teapots £35, cutlery £2.50 per item and tablecloths £10.00. Missing items (which have not been returned broken) will be charged at £10 per item,  £40 for teapots and £35 for cake stands.

  • Maggie's Tea Party accept no responsibility in the event of any injury, accident or damage caused by the use of or the presence of hire equipment during or after the hire period.

  • Washing up is included in the hire charges unless stated otherwise. Set up, styling and pack away are NOT included inthe hire charge unless agreed before hand with Maggie's tea Party.

  • Please empty any liquids and scrape off any uneaten food before repacking hired items back into boxes, in same way as delivered (set matching not required!). Please note sets must be packed ready to be picked up at agreed time, unless previously agreed with Maggie’s Tea Party. Any time spent over 15 mins repacking by a Maggie’s Tea Party employee will be charged at £50 per hour and divisions there of. Remember to retain the packaging for the repack

  • If items are washed during hire period for reuse, the hirer agrees not to use a dishwasher or high-pressure water spray. Please simply use hot water and soap, then either air dry or hand dry with soft tea towel.
